Streetstyle: the loose braided crown
Summer is coming to an end, however that’s no reason to suddenly drop all of your most-loved summery hairstyles. One of our favourites has to be the braided crown. Give this style a revamp with a bohemian twist, perfect for making the most of what’s left of this season.
Her hairstyle. Our streetstyle wearer today has opted for a loose take on the braided crown. Rather than creating a French braid, plaited tightly against her head, she has given hers some room to move about. Her braid is fairly chunky and voluminous, with a few loose strands escaping haphazardly. An even layer of hairspray holds everything in place.
Her look. Casual and elegant. To brave the autumn chill in the air, she’s opted for boyfriend jeans and a simple grey T-shirt. On top, a pink sweater adds a feminine touch to her overall outfit. Crocodile-effect ballerina flats give her look and edgy feel whilst a clutch and statement necklace complete her office-chic ensemble.
Tip of the day. Find this style tricky to create yourself? Head to your Jean Louis David salon and ask for the Speed Up-Do service. In just 15 minutes and for only 15 euros, a stylist will create an on-trend braided crown.
