Streetstyle: How to wear your ski hat about town

Her hair. Long, medium-brown hair with coppery red highlights. Our streetstyle pick today hasn’t over-styled her hair and has focused on the over all look. It’s often difficult to tie hair up when wearing a hat, so she has opted to wear hers long and flowing over her shoulders with a snug, woollen ski hat pulled down to cover her head and ears. The bright red colour and pompom brings a vibrant touch to her otherwise plain outfit.
 
Her look. Rock and mostly monochrome colours. Only her hat and white shirt add a pop of colour to her dark leather jacket. She has added a black jumper, leather jacket, a skirt worn over skin-tight pants and biker boots. Her biker-chic style is fairly serious, the only humorous aspect being her red bobble hat.
 
Tip of the day. During winter, make sure you use the right hair care products that target greasy roots and dry ends. Avoid wearing hats that are too tight and cut off the hair’s air supply. Your scalp should not suffocate! Wearing a looser hat will allow your hair to remain voluminous throughout the day.
