Show off your punk bling with tucked-away bangs
Statement jewelry has been making its way onto the fashion scene this season, especially oversized earrings. Whether you go for a chic, casual or punk theme, each is on-trend. This is a key runway look that has successfully made it from the runway to reality. All you need now is the right style to show off your new bling accessory. Why not try the bob?
The trend. This statement piece of punk jewelry, named the ear cuff, sits neatly above the lobe on the outer part of the ear. If punk style is up your street, this look was made for you, although women who prefer a more chic approach to dressing can also give this trend a go. Give an elegant dress some drama with a punk-rock ear cuff.
Who can wear punk jewelry? Anybody who wants to create an element of shock-factor to their style. There’s nothing like an all-black ensemble to offset a statement silver ear cuff. Make the most of your new accessory and tuck your front sections or bangs behind your ears. Try slicking back your bob using gel for a wet-look take on the trend, combining sophistication and rock-n-roll vibes.
Get the runway look. Don’t panic if you don’t have a bob for this look. The main thing is to tuck your front section behind your ear, exposing your ear cuff. Ideally, opt for a short bob with a side parting for optimum results. Part your hair to one side, then place your ear cuff on the opposite ear above the lobe. Straight locks will work better here than curly hair to keep all of the attention on your punk-bling. Your hairstyle should look sleek, so add some Shine Spray for a glossy finish.
