Fringe

Having a beautiful fringe in summer is possible!

Hair in your eyes, heat, obligatory styling… It is not always easy to have a fringe in summer! We have risen to the challenge to show you how to rock the perfect fringe during the warmer months.

It is possible if you choose the right style of fringe…

During this period of high temperatures where lazing about reigns supreme, certain fringes are much easier to live with than others. Forget thick, blunt or curved versions which require flawless styling and mini fringes whose short locks will stick to your sweaty forehead. Instead, opt for a curtain fringe, long and slightly thinned out, which separates in the middle of the forehead and can be swept over to each side of the face in the blink of an eye. Alternatively, go for a side-swept fringe layered or thinned out, which can be worn on whichever side your hair falls most naturally, so it holds in place by itself. Extremely natural, these fringes have several advantages. There is no need to blow-dry or straighten your locks, they can withstand a few slight waves and can be styled in a simple hand movement! Easy to tuck behind one ear to keep the hair off your face, these fringes are also great for tanning.

…and wash your hair regularly

There is no miracle when it comes to wearing a flawless fringe when the heat makes sweat drip down your forehead. The best thing to do is to frequently wash your locks. A minor hardship when frequent swimming obliges you to wash your hair on a daily basis anyway. Finally, to freshen up your fringe between two washes, a squirt of dry shampoo is enough!

Good to know: apply a mattifying cream to your forehead in the mornings and your fringe will stay dryer throughout the day.
