Floral bridal accessories for a bohemian wedding
Summer is one of the most popular times of the year for loved-up couples to tie the knot. This year, bohemian themed weddings are set to be big news, meaning hair and make-up should also reflect this hippy-inspired trend. Printed floaty dresses with romantic details and pastel make-up are perfect for a boho-chic summer wedding. All you need to do now is decide on a bohemian hairstyle to complete your look. The Dolce & Gabbana runway featured beautiful styles that you can take direct inspiration from.
The bohemian trend. Particularly popular for 2014, this trend gives you the opportunity to wear flowers and other intricate accessories that wouldn’t look out of place at Coachella festival. Inspired by the looks once worn by women during the 1968 hippy revolution, this look is all about effortless, laid-back style. Bohemian brides often decide to wear a floral crown or headband which compliments a long floaty bridal gown perfectly.
How to wear floral accessories. Similar to the models spotted on the Dolce & Gabbana runway, the most popular way to wear floral accessories is to invest in a flower-power headband. However, this isn’t the only way to work this trend! You can also try wearing clips with floral details or even incorporate real flowers into your style. The key element to this look, however, is that hair needs to be soft and natural.
How to style your hair with floral accessories. The best way to channel your inner hippy chick is to wear hair in tumbling waves. Hair should be soft in order to create beachy curls which look fantastic paired with floral accessories. Allow your lengths to flow loose naturally, or try a mussed-up half ponytail in order to be the belle of the ball at your bohemian wedding this summer!
