Styles and trends

Amelie, 26: “For me, it has to be a structured bob.”

Your look? I have a very eclectic style both in clothes and accessories. And my style varies from season to season. I tend to become obsessed with a style, garment or material and, for a while, it’s the only thing I wear! At the moment I’m really into cosy materials and pieces, but only because I’m trying to slowly ease myself into the cold weather. I wear loose, chunky-knit scarves and go for shoes that are all-weather but still stylish. I think I’ll be leaving my heels in the wardrobe for a few months now…

Your hairstyle? I also like to vary my hairstyles, but that’s a lot more difficult! Unfortunately, my hair doesn’t simply grow at the wave of a magic wand, so it’s hard to change my haircut every week. So I cheat a little… I went through a stage of wearing extensions, then I went for a short, tomboy style. My hair has grown back now and I’m mixing things up with a fringe! My forehead is a teensy bit long, so it works well with that.

Your look today? Once again, I’m not totally following the trends! I know the short fringe is all the rage this season, but I would never have even thought about going for that. As I have a sleek, straight bob, I thought it would be better to opt for a full, long fringe. I think it goes really well with the bob. My straighteners have become my best friend wearing this style you might expect to find on one of the dancer’s from Crazy Horse!
