3 ways to wear the headband this spring

The headband is the perfect accessory for spring and ideal for adding a stylish flair to any outfit in less than 5 minutes! Discover the top 3 ways to wear this simple accessory…

With voluminous locks. Nail the babydoll look and create your very own 60s-inspired hairstyle. Opt for a colorful headband to freshen up your style and pair with loose lengths, depending on your individual taste. Keep in mind that the top of the head should appear voluminous and full of body; a beehive is an ideal take on the trend. Get the look by backcombing your roots, combing the hair backwards on itself, then setting in place with a layer of hairspray.

Cover with your own hair. You’ll love this look if you’re a fan of the bohemian and hipster trends. Place your headband on top of the head, then wrap a section of hair round to hide any visible material. Pin into place as you go with bobby pins and hairspray. A fine version of this accessory will improve the overall finish. If you have long hair, create a low chignon at the nape of the neck, similar to the styles worn during the roaring 20s.

Pair with a long fringe. Place your headband onto loose hair and pair with a curtain fringe to add some drama. This combo is guaranteed to modernize your look and have you on-trend in no time. Both retro and feminine, the headband and long fringe will instantly add a sophisticated feel to any outfit. Opt for a thick headband so that it remains visible on top of your head.
