3 tips to care for blonde hair post-vacation
Blondes are lucky when it comes to seeing instant results from sun-lightening on vacation. Strands lighten subtly and naturally for a sun-kissed look. However, how should you be looking after your blonde locks once your vacation is over? Read on to find out our top 3 tips.
Hydrating shampoos. The sun can create beautiful looking highlights, yet will also dry out your hair. This is why, when you get back from holidays, you should alternate your regular shampoo with a hydrating version. This will balance out the color of your hair whilst strengthening your lengths. Kiss goodbye to frazzled ends!
Protective masks. If your hair has become damaged from too much sun exposure, you’ll need a daily treatment to help heal your locks. Your ends will probably be burnt or feel extremely dry, so make sure you treat them right! A spray mask, such as Express Therapy mask, is ideal. After de-tangling hair, spray on for an instant nourishing action which will repair your hair. Day after day, your blonde shade will appear revived and restored.
Salon appointments. This is the simplest, yet most effective, method of looking after your blonde hair. You should visit your color specialist at your salon, regardless of whether your blonde is natural or colored. They will be able to analyse your locks and advise whether a trim or touch-up is needed. So, what are you waiting for? Head down to your nearest salon to treat your sun-kissed locks to some much-needed TLC!
