What make-up to wear with a wet look
One of this summer’s hottest trends, the wet look is being worn on stylish heads everywhere. Natural for the beach or elegant for a summer party, the trend should be worn on long, loose hair. As for make-up, what should be worn to top off this hairstyle?
Complexion. As you would expect in summer, your complexion should be nice and bronzed. But don’t go exposing your face to the sun for hours on end to achieve such an effect. A little powder will do. After you’ve concealed any imperfections with a corrector pen, apply a mattifying bronzing powder to your nose, forehead and cheeks for a guaranteed healthy glow!
Lips. A nice red will add a touch of elegance to your wet-look hairstyle. For a femme fatale effect, go for a bright red or crimson for a night out. During the day, choose a nude or a clear gloss for a more natural and sophisticated result.
Eyes. What eye make-up you go for depends on what you choose for the rest of your face. If you’ve opted for red lips, avoid doing too much with your eyes. You don’t want to go over the top! However, a bit of liquid or kohl eyeliner to define your eyes is fine. And forget eyeshadow with this kind of hairstyle. With an already bold look this will look too heavy.
