This season, why not give the rock-n-roll inspired short bob with a fringe combo a go? Let’s take a closer look at this beauty look that was spotted on the Anna Sui Spring-Summer 2015 runway at New York Fashion Week!
The trend. A short, wispy bob paired with a curtain fringe. Fringes were choppy and skimmed the eyes whilst lengths were wispy and layered to add a messy, rock-n-roll feel to the look. This hairstyle is ideal for framing the face and gave the runway models a rebel attitude. On the catwalk, this look was combined with natural make-up. In terms of outfit choices, raw denim was the key element to this style for a unisex finish.
Who can wear the rock-chic bob? Were you a fan of the messy, rock-chic or neo-grunge trends? This hairstyle is also full of character and was made for you! In fact, you should choose your style based on its wearability for your day-to-day routine. The best bit? You can totally make this hairstyle work for you even if your individual style is more classic or sophisticated. Simply run a comb throughout your style and spray with hairspray to create a modern, elegant take on this look.
Get the runway look. Start by washing hair with Soft and Tone Shampoo. Next, apply a golf-ball sized amount of Foamer and Texture to damp hair to lift your roots and create as much volume and body as possible. Next, onto styling! Use your hairdryer and aim towards your head, scrunching with your fingertips to add a texturized effect. This technique will enable you to nail that messy ‘I woke up like this’ finish. Finally, position your fringe so that it covers your forehead then complete the look with another layer of hairspray.
