The pros discuss golden eyebrows
Golden eyebrows were first spotted on the runway, and have been increasingly popular ever since. So, how can you wear this trend? Should you wear yours through the day, or save them for evening occasions? The pros give their advice on this shimmery trend.
Golden eyebrows are beautiful! ‘Of course, you should save them for glizty occasions such as a party or evening event, rather than wearing them at the office. The effect is fairly subtle when worn on blondes, however brunettes and red heads can also wear this trend, with a more noticeable end-result’.
Make sure you use the correct products to ensure your golden sparkles stay put. ‘The gold shimmer isn’t always sold with the necessary glue adhesive. Opt for the same sort of glue you would use for applying false eyelashes. At least you know that your gold eyebrows won’t come off through the day and you won’t suffer from any allergic reactions. Apply the glue to your eyebrows, then pat on your golden dust. If you only wear this trend now and again, you won’t have to worry about the consequences on your real brows, and your new ones will never have looked as bejewelled and eye-catching!’
Try not to bulk up your brows too much when applying your gold shimmer. ‘Follow the natural curvature of your eyebrows for the perfect shape. The result will be just as dazzling, and will still resemble your natural arch. Following your brow bone will always give you the best results’.
Our advice: Don’t just jump into buying one of these products off-hand. Research specialist boutiques and salons to get optimum results that are safe for your skin. The eyes are one of the most fragile areas on our bodies, so take care!
