Streetstyle: The Heidi crown braid

Her hairstyle? Both chic and bohemian. This structured crown braid is easy to wear even if you don’t have very long hair. To copy this style, straighten your hair then separate into two with a centre parting before slicking your hair back neatly and tying it into a chignon. Next, place a ready-made braid around your hair and secure at the back.

Her look? Ultra-colourful! The sun is back so why not treat yourself to some bright and beautiful colours. Our streetstyle of the day has gone for two bold colours: electric blue and orange. Two colours that go together perfectly but which you have to be daring to wear. If you want a colour-rich look, dare to wear this combination with a top and trousers for example. If you’re feeling less adventurous, go for colourful accessories or a bright manicure.

Tip of the day. If you hair isn’t very long or you simply want to braid your hair yourself, create a crown braid using two braids. Start by brushing your hair. Create a centre parting then take two pieces of hair from either side of the parting. Tie the rest of your hair into a loose chignon and braid these two pieces, wrapping them around your head. Fix them in place in your chignon or at the back of your head.
