Streetstyle: holding your mohican in place

Share
The grunge trend is making a comeback for autumn-winter 2013-2014. Women, men, everyone is ready to give this emblematic hairstyle a go! You just need to know how to hold it in place for an optimum result.

His hairstyle. A mohican measuring a few centimetres’ tall. Though he’s obviously a big fan of the grunge look, our streetstyle of the day chose not to take it too far when it came to his hairstyle. He’d rather sport a modestly-sized mohican than try to smash records for having the longest mohican! To enhance and draw attention to his mohican, he chose to shave the sides of his head. Held in place with gel, his hairstyle will last all day.

His look. As original as his hairstyle! With a mixture of materials and colours, our streetstyle of the day decided to embrace winter with style. A colourful shirt, a shiny velvet jacket, grey wool trousers. His style is influenced by a number of trends. The most important thing for him? To carry on smiling and sport a style with summer colours even though the sky is grey and temperatures are falling.

Tip of the day. Gel is your best bet when it comes to holding your mohican in place. If you’d also like it to have a glossy finish, opt for serum. Combine the two products so that the Mohican has a glossy effect and stays in place!
