Show off your blonde locks with a berry lip
Are berry shades the new red when it comes to lip color? This season’s Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 catwalks have sure got us wondering. This elegant yet rebellious lip shade has dark undertones, but that doesn’t mean brunettes should have all of the fun! Women with blonde hair can use deep berry shades to contrast beautifully with their lighter locks and naturally paler complexions. Discover how to wear this bold lip for a flawless finished look.
The bold lip trend. Although berry shades can give classic red lipstick a run for its money in terms of elegance, this darker hue also creates a rebel-chic look that ticks this season’s neo-grunge trend box perfectly. If your complexion is naturally quite pale, opt for a lipstick with a glossy finish to liven up your look. Others with a slightly more tanned complexion can experiment with intensity by using the fingertips to distribute the product, creating a just-bitten effect. As for the rest of your face, keep things pared back to a minimum with a subtle shimmer on the eyelids and a sweep of blush over the apples of your cheeks.
Berry lips with loose lengths. What better way to perfect your grunge look than leaving your lengths loose to flow wildly in the wind? This relaxed hairstyle will add a hint of warmth to your look and brighten up your complexion whilst softening any lines around the eyes. Create a mysterious allure by sweeping a strand across your forehead and eyes, allowing your lips to do all of the talking.
Which styles are best? If your hair is on the straight side, try swapping your regular style for some natural waves. Hair that is poker straight will appear harsh. Voluminous roots, wavy lengths or curls will soften the ends result. As for accessories, why not try this season’s popular ear cuff and tuck your bangs behind your ears to reveal a little sparkle?
