Seen on the catwalk, Spring-Summer 2016
If you aren’t aware of this Spring’s trends, there is still time to get up to speed. Discover our selection of must-have styles for this season, spotted on the catwalks during recent Fashion Weeks. Feel free to be inspired by the following looks!
The messy-styled side swept look, seen at the Michael Kors fashion show

This look suits all hairstyles, whether your hair is tied up or down. Opt for a long side swept look which fully covers the forehead, even if it means covering one eye. On the catwalk, the hair was fixed in place behind the ears. Indistinct and deliberately effortless, it softens facial features and focuses attention on the eyes.
XXL hair extensions, seen at the Maison Margiela fashion show

This season, long hair is very much in! If you aren’t lucky enough to have XXL hair, opt for natural extensions. Preferably go for clip-in extensions which will preserve the vitality of your hair and can be taken out at any moment. They will give you the hair of your dreams, creating the perfect illusion.
The rounded fringe, seen at the Vera Wang fashion show

Both on trend and retro, this fringe stops just below the eyebrows. It is clearly inspired by the 1960s and can look great on mid-length to long hair. To obtain this result, you should preferably use straighteners . You can therefore produce this rounded fringe effect by creating a curved movement in your hair.
Multiple sleek braids, seen at the Valentino fashion show

Sleek braids are the IT hairstyle this spring . Furthermore, several celebrities have already tried them out. If you also wish to fall for this look, you must have at least shoulder length hair. The plus point of this style? It allows your imagination to run free… In fact, you can vary the number and thickness of your braids according to your style and desired look.
Butterfly sunglasses, seen at the Oscar de la Renta fashion show

With this accessory, turn yourself into a sixties pin-up! Just like on the catwalk, favour oversized sunglasses to play the mystery card. Feel free to give a boost to your style by choosing a patterned or coloured pair. At the slightest sign of any sun, get your sunglasses out: you will protect your eyes from the UV rays whilst looking incredibly stylish at the same time!
