The rock’mantic half-ponytail: what is it?

It’s a half-ponytail combined with a rock chick styled front section. To create this look, the hairdresser starts by gathering the side sections together on top of your head. They then work with your hair to create “flexibility” at the back of the head. If you have straight hair, your hairdresser will slightly curl your locks to add movement. The hairdresser will then curl a few strands at the front of the head for a kinked rock chick look.

Who is it for?

The rock’mantic hairstyle is ideal for bob styles that go down to collarbone length. “The aim was to create a hairstyle which keeps the hair out of the face whilst showcasing your locks with a new style”, our Jean Louis David expert explains.

When should I wear it?

Wear the rock’mantic hairstyle in the daytime teamed with a leather jacket, a dress and a pair of boots. In the evening, go for sophistication with a sequin dress and a pair of high heels.
