Mid-length hair: going from straight to ultra-curly

Want to get a new look without touching the length of your hair? How about transforming your haircut with curls? Here is a tutorial on how to create perfect tight curls to give you a completely new look!

Prepare your hair

After detangling your locks, divide your hair into three sections to make styling easier. First, mark out a side part to add movement to the hairstyle and to create two distinct sections with the front section of hair. Then put in two other partings, each going from the top of the head to just behind the ears to separate the front section from the rest of your hair.

Curl your locks

Get your hands on small diameter curling tongs to get ultra-tight curls and start by styling your hair at the nape of the neck. To do this, use a clip to mark out each section to curl and tie up the upper layers whilst curling the first strands. Choose small sections, wind the hair around the curling tongs and then leave it to heat up for a few seconds to create well-sculpted curls. Then, continue doing this throughout the rest of your hair.

Perfect your curls

Once your hair is curled all over, place a small amount of Nutri Serum in the palm of your hand and add a few spritzes of Fix Ultime extra hold hairspray. Mix it all together and then ruffle up your locks with it by lifting them, to add extreme volume to your curls, hold the hairstyle in place and eliminate frizz all at the same time!
