How to work the baby-hair trend

This season, ‘baby hair’ is taking the fashion world by storm. Discover a simple way to wear this runway trend, spotted on the Christopher Kane Spring-Summer 2015 catwalk at London Fashion Week.

The trend

Models wore their hair long and loose, tumbling down their backs, with added structure thanks to a neat centre parting. Roots were slicked backwards for a wet-look effect. However, it was the ‘baby hair’ that stole the show and injected some character into this look. They were worn on the forehead and acted as a stamp of personality.

Who can wear baby hairs?

Anybody wanting to try out the ‘baby hair‘ trend without compromising on elegance. This looks is ideal for almost any occasion, thanks to the subtler take on this retro style. Why not give this trend a go to liven up your regular hairstyles or classic cut.

Step-by-step tutorial

Start by washing hair with Ultimate Purity shampoo to strengthen and add shine. Dry, then part hair neatly in the centre. Apply a small amount of Design Gel to the roots to achieve a subtle shine. Next, section off your baby hairs and slick down to your forehead with leftover gel on your palms. It’s totally up to you to decide how much hair you want to lie against your forehead…it all depends on the look you’re trying to achieve.
