Annie, 34: “Ear muffs, my alternative to the beanie”
Your look? Classic and chic. By classic, I mean monochrome: Black is definitely my colour of choice. It makes you look slimmer, it’s chic, timeless, and it goes with everything. Sometimes I go for something fancy, but black is the perfect colour. You won’t find a dress or skirt in my wardrobe that isn’t black! When it comes to tops though I get a bit more imaginative.
Your hairstyle? I have naturally thick, straight hair. Yes I know, many people would love to have this type of hair, but when I decide I want to wear my hair wavy, it only lasts half an hour, it’s so annoying! I often leave my hair down but sometimes tie it up into a chignon. Ballerina bun, chignon bun or French twist, I’m a bit of an expert these days.
Your look today? Winter has barely been here 5 minutes and my ears are already shivering from the icy rain, bitter cold wind and the snow. For a long time I never used to leave the house without my beanie. But I started to find that my hair would look limp and lifeless when I took it off. So I decided to invest in a pair of ear muffs. Firstly because it’s more original but also because it avoids any nasty surprises. And my little ears are much more protected!
