Valerie, 31: “Boosting my short cut with oversize accessories”

Your look? A fairly simple look that I like to customise with accessories. My favourite accessory: tights. The end of summer couldn’t come soon enough for me – it means I can show off all my new finds! And I’m not just talking about standard tights. I like to play around with different colours, shapes and materials, each pair more original than the next. Tights add that something extra to my otherwise black clothes.


Your hairstyle? I had long hair for a long time. But as my hair is quite fine, I often found it lacked volume. So, to avoid lifeless hair I decided to cut it short, really short! I use styling products such as hairspray and fixing gel every day to add shape and texture. And I feel so much better now! I think this cut suits me so much better and really reflects my personality.
 
Your look today? As I can no longer create up-dos, I’ve become addicted to accessories to make my hairstyles more imaginative. Hair jewellery and accessorised headbands… My collection is growing fast!
