Streestyle: French braids are back in 2015
This summer, French braids are making their comeback on the fashion scene. Follow our streetstyle and try them out for your summer adventures.
Her hair style? Two braids to cover her head. They start from the root, right out to the ends of her hair. They are large, messy and symmetrical. They are also separated by a center parting in the middle. Our streetstyle has gone for them down the chest in order to show off their length. This style is easy to achieve, timeless and retro, and opens up her face perfectly.
Her look? Bohemian and romantic in the manner of a ‘good girl’. She’s wearing a sweater with kimono sleeves, which goes with a mid-length grey skirt. In terms of accessories, she’s gone for simplicity with flat sandals with thick soles, without forgetting the brown leather bag. For make-up, our streetstyle has gone for 100% nude make-up for an elegant yet understated look.
Tip of the day. To get two French braids, first divide your hair into two parts. Split the first part into three equal locks: pass the right lock over the middle lock, then do the same with the left one. Next, braid your hair all the way, with more hair on each occasion. Hold it in place with a hairband. Repeat the technique for the rest. Finally, hold it in place all day by spraying on Fix Spray.
