Seen on the catwalks: coloured roots
At Jean Paul Gaultier they’re not afraid of showing their roots! You’re always being told to hide your roots at all costs, but here they flaunt them with pride in a range of coloured shades. Here’s a closer look at these rockabilly roots.
For his A/W 2012 collection, Jean Paul Gaultier has funked-up his models with coloured roots, some more original than others, each one showing off their own colour. Pink, red, black, silver, orange and even blue adorn the roots of these models’ super-straight hair. An original colour technique which is perfect for bringing out your inner punk for a night on the town!
To get street or urban style coloured roots for one night only, choose a temporary colouring product, such as a spray, like the one used for the Jean Paul Gaultier catwalk show. Create a straight-parting then apply the spray to both sides of your parting. Graffiti effect guaranteed!
