Marguerite, 25: “A short cut for a masculine-feminine style”

Your look? My haircut on its own is fairly out there, so I try not to take it too far with my clothes! Despite what people might think, I’m not a big fan of dark clothes or studded accessories… Quite the opposite in fact. I like girlie pieces such as skirts, dresses and heels! And my favourite colour is pink. Not all over and not too baby girl, but on a top or an accessory.

Your hairstyle? I have a tomboy cut that I add my own personal touch to with a half hawk along the sides. In other words, really short, shaved sections! My mum might not like it, but I love it. As it’s so cold at the moment I have to wear a beanie to stay warm. Now I know what it’s like for my boyfriend! I don’t know if I’ll keep it like this for long, because I have to go to the hairdresser’s quite a lot with it.

Your look today? I leave the sides as they are, but I have to deal with the top of my head! I apply an anti-frizz serum to wet hair then smooth it out using a hair dryer, shaping my hair with my fingers. I have naturally straight hair so I don’t need to bother straightening it. I style the pieces of hair at the front of my head with a thin, round brush to give it a subtle, rounded shape.
