Over the last couple of years, it’s not just hairstyles that have been taking centre stage…eyebrows have also become a major focal point when it comes to haircare and grooming. After seeing invisible, colourful and bushy brows on the catwalks, we thought nothing could surprise us. Then we saw jewelled eyebrows. Ready to give this look a try?
 
The trend. According to research, consumers spent over 1.4 million euros on eyebrow-related products between January and May this year. However, it seems that this time the trend is leaning more towards blingy crystals and diamantés. The Rodarte runway (pictured) is living proof that this season is all about the statement, jewelled brow!
 
Who can wear jewelled eyebrows? Anybody who likes a little sparkle in their life and isn’t afraid of accessorising. You’ll need to work in a fairly laid-back job if your boss will let you get away with wearing these bobby-dazzlers 9-5. To nail the runway look, this look requires using stick-on accessories to create a pierced-effect. This one certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted!
 
Practical or impossible? We’re finding it hard to imagine wearing these brows on a day to day basis. It’s quite common that some runway trends never make it to the high-street, which is the case with this flashy look. Similar to the crown accessory, you’ll need bags of confidence to pull off these brows. Want our advice? Leave this bling look to the runway models, unless you’re planning on a sparkly costume this Halloween.
