No need to sacrifice your hair at the beach! Just because you’ll only be wearing your swimsuit there’s no need to ignore the accessories and beauty products once you’re dry. Here are three up-do ideas for long hair to use when you’re lacking inspiration...

Twisted crown. A style that will show off your face and can also be achieved with mid-length hair. Apply a styling mousse to give your hair some body and structure. Starting at the front, twist a wide section of hair without pulling too tight. Halfway round, fix the twist in place with Kirby grips then continue the twisting action until you get to the back of the head (and the ends of your hair). Repeat the procedure on the other side of your head, then gather the ends together and fix them into the crown with grips.
Ponytail and scarf. For a bohemian vibe, perfect for the end of a day at the beach, try a loose side ponytail. For this style too, it’s a good idea to apply styling mousse and to gently untangle with your fingers. Create a side-parting and gather your hair on the side with more volume. Tie your hair in place with a silk scarf and let the loose ends mingle with your hair.
High bun. Quick and simple to achieve, the high bun will do wonders for your look! Apply styling mousse through your hair and back-comb the front section. Put your hair up in a high ponytail with a hair band – don’t pull too tight or the look will be too severe. Twist the hair and wind it around the base of the ponytail. Finally, fix it in place with hair grips.
