It is well known that the ends are the most fragile part of your hair. So in winter, when your hair is exposed to the cold, wind and humidity, you must be doubly vigilant so that your tips do not get damaged. Read on for our advice on the matter.
In winter, more than ever, it is better to prevent than try to repair dry, damaged tips! A regenerative hair mask, after washing of course, is a must. However, this is not enough. Don't forget to use a thermo-protective treatment before each blow-dry so as not to dry out this ultra-sensitive area when styling. Above all, always apply a hydrating leave-in treatment, such as Jean Louis David's Nutri Serum, to your tips. This nutritive concentrate deeply hydrates and protects the tips from external damaging factors (the cold, rain, snow...) to prevent split ends. Once a week, also give your hair an oil soak which is targeted at deeply revitalising your tips and making the ends of your hair stronger.
Hats, scarves, turtle-neck sweaters, thick coats ... In winter, your locks tend to get mistreated by your clothes and accessories. The ends of your hair are the first thing to suffer from this frequent rubbing which weakens your locks over time. So you cannot beat a high-perched hairstyle for protecting your hair in the blink of an eye! A ponytail for mid-length hair and a bun for XXL locks, everyone has their favourite up-do, ideal for taking care of your hair's tips.
Our top tip: get the ends of your hair cut regularly to ensure that they always remain in excellent condition and to eliminate split ends.
