Noëlle’s most radical hair change!

“I’ve always loved my long hair, almost to the point of obsession! For me long hair is the ultimate symbol of femininity and it always gets heads turning! Whenever I used to go to the hairdresser’s it was just for a trim and I was always watching carefully to make sure she never cut off more than a couple of centimetres. Until…

…I got fed up with having to spend hours on end sorting my hair out! The annoying thing about long hair is that it requires more products, more treatments and a lot more time. And I think that once you get to a certain age, long hair doesn’t tend to look as fresh. So, I decided to go for a dramatic change. It was on a bit of a whim I must admit. I had just turned 35 and had recently gone through a painful break-up, so I felt like I needed a change.

So I went to my favourite hairdresser who was as shocked as anyone by my request. He asked me several times if I was sure about my decision. I think he was afraid I’d hate him for it afterwards! I must admit I was a tad nervous when I saw my long hair falling to the floor. But once he’d finished, I knew that this haircut was made for me, and it didn’t make me look less girlie at all. And I’ve even met someone since!”
