Must-have products to keep my style on-point
Looking after your hair requires regular upkeep to keep it looking healthy and vibrant. Thanks to our pros’ top tips, find out which haircare products every girl should own!
One of the best pieces of advice is to make sure your products are adapted to your individual hair type. ‘If your hair is normal (neither dry, nor damaged, nor sensitive), using a combination of Control Therapy shampoo and Express Therapy haircare mask should be enough to keep your hair in good condition. Another thing to bear in mind is how you actually style your hair…you should use a heat-defence spray before straightening, a styling mousse if curling and a quality hairspray to hold everything in place’.
More complex hair types will need more nourishing products to keep them looking great. ‘When dealing with colored, dry or damaged hair, you’ll not only need to maintain your style but attempt to repair it too. Look out for nourishing shampoo formulas, hair masks rich in proteins and serums designed to repair dry ends. Your overall routine should consist of an intensive shampoo, followed by a hydrating conditioner and then styling products’.
Our advice: Keep your locks looking radiant by washing with Hydration and Suppleness shampoo from the Oil Therapy range 2-3 times per week. Best-case scenario? Ideally you should alternate between two products so that your hair doesn’t get used to either.
