To create volume, the basic technique is the same, but there are so many different options when it comes to styling. First of all, start by blow-drying your hair so that you’re working on completely dry hair. After this, the technique varies depending on the result you’re after.

If you want added volume, your Jean Louis David hairdresser will apply a styling spray to your roots. This product will dampen the roots slightly so that you can get the movement you’re after. Next, your hairdresser will blow-dry your hair upwards to lift the roots. This is how volume is achieved, and the styling product used on your hair will ensure a long-lasting hold.

To create a quiff effect, Dry Set volume is also used in the salon. Your hairdresser will apply a spray to your dry hair to add volume, and then lift your roots as before, blow-drying upwards. The ends are separated using a styling wax, which will help to discipline your hair and add shine to your full-bodied rock quiff!
