What happens during a morning in a Jean Louis David salon?

Not tried our Jean Louis David salons yet? Discover our key principles, from welcoming you at the door to choosing the right cut for you.

A stylist will welcome you as soon as you enter the salon. “They will ask you what you want to do to your hair (color and cut). In terms of what you decide to go for, they will inform you of waiting times and allocate you a stylist. Next is the part where we want to find out more about you! You will be asked to answer a few simple questions so that you can be added to our client database”.

A stylist will then perform a professional diagnostic of your hair. “The aim is for our stylists to fully understand your individual hair type and what you want to achieve. Hundreds of images will be available for you to choose from, meaning you can show your stylist exactly which style, color and cut you want. This short analysis allows you to ensure you get exactly what you want and leave the salon a happy customer”.

Next comes the exciting part… styling! “Just before starting your treatment, your stylist will give you a price and inform you how long you will be spending in the styling chair. After your diagnostic, your hair will be shampooed and conditioned, ready to be cut. Having completed your new look, the stylist will then show you your new style from all angles using a mirror. It’s extremely important that our clients are 100% happy with our service”

Our advice: Before leaving the salon, be sure to ask how often you should book future appointments to maintain your new cut and color. And, don’t forget to pick up one of our Jean Louis David loyalty cards. This gives you access to gift vouchers, promotions and special offers on your birthday. What’s more, you can leave feedback on the service you received so that we keep getting better and better.
