Using leave-in treatments

Many of you have all the right intentions, but just never quite get round to them… If you want to look after your hair without using up all of your free time, here is the perfect compromise: leave-in treatments.

These leave-in treatments really are lifesavers! Ultra-practical, they have quickly become some of the most essential products for shiny, healthy hair. “Leave-in treatments, and in particular the dual-phase products and day creams we have here at Jean Louis David, give hair instant nutrition and well-being.” Women today don’t always have the time to leave a hair mask on for 5 minutes (or sometimes even longer) each time they wash their hair. So that’s why this fast, practical and effective solution is so essential. “With these leave-in treatments, the effect is instantly visible. Hair looks instantly hydrated and healthier.”

These treatments should be applied to wet hair after it has been washed and dried. Their only objective: to nourish. “If you are looking for a light, creamy texture, opt for dual phase treatments. These products are lighter than the day cream, but are still great for hydrating your hair as well as untangling and styling. But if you are after even more nutrition, choose the day cream. This comes as a spray, which means you can apply it directly to the ends or spray throughout your hair.”

Despite what many people think, leave-in treatments will not weigh down your hair. The textures are designed specifically to avoid this. This means that you can use these products every day if necessary. ”If you find that your hair is looking dull and lifeless, apply a dual-phase treatment. After that, it all depends on how much product you use. If, for example you use day cream, your hair can end up looking greasy after a few days.”

Our tip: Leave-in treatments can also be used on dry hair, if you haven’t got the time to wash it for example. In just a few moments, your ends will look shinier and your hair will be ready for easy styling.
