Trend: What is Fire Dye?

Presented by its inventor Lauren Bowker during London Fashion Week 2017, Fire Dye promises us hair that changes colour… As the temperature changes. Find out more about this hair dye which has quite literally set social networks on fire.

This hair dye gets its name from the surprising effect it has on your hair. It allows you to go from pitch black to flaming red locks, and vice versa, simply by being exposed to heat or a cold draught.

A flamboyant colouring technique

This almost hypnotic colour change reproduces the colours of a flame which fluctuates between bright red, copper tones and sparkling platinum blond, before smouldering down to brown and black shades.
