The streetstyle pick our whole office is talking about: the inward-flick blow dry

Her hair. She’s created a perfectly executed blow-dry. Soft and natural with the ends flicked inwards slightly, this flattering shape creates a sophisticated finish. Her locks are a dark chestnut shade, yet a few blonde highlights give her style a sun-kissed effect. The good news is that this blow-dry is suited to all hair lengths. Try with your short bob, mid-length hair or even super-long lengths.

Her look. Her look is both chic and very on-trend. A black bodysuit with ¾ length sleeves is paired with a loose, floaty skirt in a printed fabric. She’s slung a white blazer over her shoulders for a ‘cape’ effect; another of this season’s most-wanted pieces. In terms of accessories, a quilted bag with two golden straps has taken direct inspiration from a top designer. And what can we say about her open-toe high heel sandals? As well as being super on-trend and showing off her skyscraper legs, they match the rest of her ensemble beautifully.

Tip of the day. Re-create the look for yourself at home by starting with a heat-protective spray. When styling, make sure your brush is always moving to prevent the hair overheating and flick inwards to get the same effect our streetstyler is wearing. Finally, switch your hairdryer to the cool setting to set your style in place.
