If your budget is limited, buy little but buy well! Or go for luxury accessories rather than clothes from big-name brands. To keep warm, our fashionista has chosen a chic, equestrian-style hat with a thick scarf.

Her hairstyle? With all those winter accessories we nearly forgot about her hairstyle! But there is one! Our look of the day has long, straight hair worn worked into a low, side ponytail. Her hair is bouncy and shiny even at the ends. This trendsetter obviously spends a lot of time looking after her hair, using hydrating masks on the ends and having it trimmed regularly.

Tip of the day. To avoid suffocating your scalp too much or simply for something a more chic, the equestrian-style hat is the perfect option. The shape of this hat means your scalp is able to breathe and your style will stay in place when you take it off. When your scalp is unable to breathe your roots will go greasy and your hair is left static. So try not to pull your hats and beanies all the way onto your head, and choose versions made from synthetic materials.
