Lorie’s most radical hairstyle change

“I like ice queens. I am fascinated by girls with a porcelain complexion. They’re synonymous with this cold look. Hair colour is an important factor for this effect, as more often than not these women with crystal-clear complexions are blonde.

You are perhaps imagining me as a brunette with an olive complexion? You’re wrong! In my opinion, I don’t have the perfect complexion, but I am blonde. The annoying thing is that I get these little red patches on my skin that I have to conceal using cosmetics designed for delicate skin.

As for my hair, I was honey blonde for a long time, but I recently switched to white blonde, an ultra-trendy ice blonde. All my friends told me I’d end up looking like a granny, that this colour would make me look decades older. So I ummed and ahhed about it for a long time, and had to make do with envying girls in magazines! Because there’s nothing worse than a hair colour gone wrong!

Rather than do it by myself at home, I thought it would be best to go to my hairdresser for a professional result that really boosts my hair! And I have absolutely no regrets. I don’t think my ice blonde colour makes me look older. Quite the opposite – I feel like it’s given me a much brighter complexion. Now it’s my turn to be an ice queen!”
