Greasy hair, split ends, frizz: our solutions for your daily hair troubles
It’s well known that every problem has a solution! So check out our advice and the tricks you should try to resolve your emergency hair concerns.
Say goodbye to greasy hair
Start by spacing out how often you shampoo your hair. In fact, the more you do it, the more you stimulate your sebaceous gland which produces excess sebum. The ideal frequency would be to wash your hair 1 to 3 times a week maximum. When you shampoo your hair, avoid massaging your scalp too rigorously. Finally, ideally use cold or lukewarm water to rinse your hair. As for treatments, don’t apply products which are too rich in silicone which tend to make your hair heavy. Opt for light, soft formulas with astringent and purifying properties.
Eliminate frizz
Styling products are your best allies! Before styling, apply products which will coat the hair fibre and will keep your hair under control, such as Brush Cream or Perfect Liss. When you have finished styling, you can also use finishing products, such as Fix Spray or Design Spray. In this particular case, apply them onto a fine comb before flattening down any small bits of hair on your hairline and all over your hair. Frizz is often dry or damaged hair. Therefore, consider nourishing it regularly with rich and hydrating treatments such as a hair mask.
Get rid of split ends
First of all, treat them with targeted treatments. There are anti-dry tip serums which deeply nourish and hydrate your hair. Apply them daily. If you don’t see any changes after a few weeks, you should get your damaged ends cut off! No need to worry, if you catch them in time: just a centimetre is often enough to give your hair a boost. However, if you leave split ends, they can climb up the length of the hair fibre. In this case, you hairdresser may need to cut off up to 4 centimetres. Finally, always apply thermo-active treatment before using heating devices. You will prevent your tips drying out over time.
