Men: beauty tips for strong, healthy hair

Men's hair tends to be a lot shorter than women's, but that's no excuse to neglect it. Men's hair needs to be looked after too! Even they have to follow some essential steps to keep their hair strong, and healthy.
 
Men tend to suffer from two issues: hair loss and dandruff. "Hair loss is an irreversible condition. Some products slow down hair loss, but nothing can prevent it altogether, unless of course it's just a passing phase due to emotional shock. Treating hair loss isn't easy, you need to use special products every day. However, such products can delay hair loss for a few years, which isn’t bad!
 
Dandruff, however, is easily treated if you choose the right type of treatment. "The appearance of dandruff is usually due to the person's lifestyle. The scalp is very sensitive and has a lot of nerve endings. If the body is not well looked after, hair will suffer too and dandruff will appear". But don't panic, there are lots of shampoos to choose from to deal with dandruff. "Simply go to the pharmacy or your hairdresser's, identify the type of dandruff you're dealing with (greasy or dry) and purchase the shampoo that will get rid of it. If the problem continues, a dermatologist will be able to prescribe more suitable products, such as a lotion."
 
Our tip: Used in large doses, styling products can damage men's hair. Avoid applying too much product and try to vary the products you use. Ideally, you should alternate between two or three styling products to allow your hair to breathe.
