Which glasses to wear with a short cut?

Choosing which glasses to go for is a very important decision, especially if you have to wear them every day. You need to find a pair that you like, a pair that is both comfortable and stylish! Do you have short hair? Find out all you need to know here!

Autumn-Winter 2012 trends. Vintage, retro specs are still very popular and take us back to the 50s and 60s with butterfly shapes or chic, round frames. In terms of material, the trend is lightweight materials and natural materials such as wood. But don’t fret, if you’re someone who prefers more traditional acetate frames, there’s something for you too. Styles are simple with a few added details to customise the frames. As for colours, we love neutral tones. But if you want to make a statement, go for red.

Frames. It all depends on your face shape and the length of your hair. Remember this rule: look for the opposite of your face shape. So if you have a round face, opt for square frames. If you have a squarer face, go for round, oval or even mask-shaped frames with short cuts. For a triangular face shape with short hair, oversized round frames are best. Finally, oval face shapes will suit almost any frame!

Colours. If you want your glasses to match the rest of you, think about your complexion, your hair and eye colour. Blonds (but not too blonde) and brunettes will suit almost any colour, from the most subtle to the darkest shades! However, cool blondes such as ice or white blondes should stick to frames in cooler shades, such as beige or grey. Overly dark frames will harden your features.
