The inspiration behind the Rock My City Collection

The Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 collection has taken inspiration from real-life women spotted out and about. The Rock My City Collection isn’t simply about hair; it’s the idea of a free woman who loves to socialise and chat with her friends, which is something every woman can, no doubt, identify with.

The collection is based on four key principles. ‘These on-trend principles include coppery tones, subtle highlights around the face, voluminous haircuts, as well as layered styles. There’s a look for everybody this autumn’.

Orange was a major color on the catwalks last year. ‘This statement trend was translated into vibrant, strawberry blonde hues and vivacious red shades. This season, be brave and give this glossy color a go! Orange has already been a key hair color for many of autumn’s ad campaigns’.

Strategically placed highlights around the face are another of this season’s top looks. ‘Our Dot Light coloring technique enables stylists to target the areas where the sun would naturally reflect light from your style. Thanks to this technique, you can brighten up your complexion’.

Different styles of cuts also caught our attention on the catwalk shows. ‘Women with long hair should keep their locks looking thick and healthy, but experiment with thinning the ends for more movement. If you currently have a bob, ask your stylist to trim yours into a rectangular shape, which will frame your face beautifully, similar to model Edie Campbell in her Saint-Laurent ad’.
