Is the Style Bar suitable for short hair?

You want to create stunning braids and beautiful curls, but you’re worried that the Style Bar won’t be able to help your short hair. However, don’t speak too soon as everything is possible, in just a short space of time! The only thing to keep in mind is that you should arrive at the salon with hair that is already cut into a short style.

Speed Brush and Speed Curl are very simple to create with short hair. ‘Only the Speed Up-Do service might be difficult to achieve due to the length. You need around 10cm of hair in order to create a beautiful-looking side-braid. Braided crown styles and rock-chic plaits are very simple to style’.

The rock-chic look created by double braids with the Speed Up-Do service will not have the same effect when styled with shorter locks. ‘Of course, your style will still have a rock’n’roll vibe to it, but will look more David Bowie than a current on-trend look. At first glance, people could mistake your style for a mullet, which was popular amongst footballers during the 80s. Avoid side braids if your hair is extremely short, as it won’t do you any favours’.

Speed Curl is much more suited to shorter styles, however you still need a minimum length. ‘Once again, you need a good 10 or so centimetres to create gorgeous curls. Your stylist won’t be able to adjust the size of your curls, however will be able to give your locks a softer appearance with relaxed waves’.

Our advice: In just 15 short minutes, for 15 euros, you can step out of the salon with a glamorous and feminine look thanks to the new Style Bar service…even with short locks! Simply turn up to the salon with clean hair and let your stylist work his/hers magic.
