How to wear your parting this summer

This summer, the catwalk trends have laid down the law for us: partings should be worn in the middle. Your hair should be evenly structured left and right as this season’s look is all about staying central!

Who is this trend for? Many people are still reluctant to wear the centre parting, even though it looks great on everyone. Long hair, short hair, curly hair, straight hair, whether you’re brunette or blonde, the centre parting suits everyone! The only people who might want to avoid it are those with very fine, often lifeless hair. The centre parting can leave their hair lacking volume.

Creating your centre parting. The ideal accessory for a neat centre parting is a fine-toothed comb. While your hair is still damp, pull it back with the comb and create your parting. Make sure it’s nice and straight for maximum impact.

The centre parting with an up-do. With up-dos, the centre parting is the perfect touch for working ladies wanting to go for a serious, almost strict look whilst remaining glamorous and sophisticated. Straighten your hair and slick it down on both sides of the parting. Gather your hair into a low ponytail and you’re good to go.

The centre parting on loose hair. Whether you like to leave your hair natural or style it with your straighteners, the centre parting is made for you. The centre parting adds structure to a wispy style. For a perfect boho result, use your curling tongs to create an incredibly trendy, wavy look.
The centre parting can also be worn on straight hair for a more sweet and innocent look: straighten your hair with your straightening irons and don’t forget to apply a protective product beforehand.
