Hair trends for spring-summer 2013

New season equals new trends. Whether you’re into beauty, fashion or hair, this spring-summer 2013 offers you a chance to shake things up a bit with the latest style codes! Here’s a closer look at these hair trends.

The bob. Long hair worn in the side-hair style is not the only trend to get the vote of glamour this season. This year, the bob is back and can be worn in a number of different ways: straight and structured for purists, wavy for chic bohemians, graphic or asymmetric for neo-futurists and the wet look for a just-back-from-the-beach effect.

Wavy hair. Waves still have many fine days ahead of them! They are the perfect match for the spring-summer mind-set, when it’s all about warmer temperatures and a chilled-out atmosphere. Wear waves on mid-length or long hair, concentrating on the mid-lengths and ends.

The wet look. This season, hair is slicked down on the top of the head and left loose at the sides. This hairstyle comes in a number of different versions. Think wet-look for a chic and sporty vibe or simply glossy for something a bit more glamorous.

Sixties retro. Retro hairstyles are all the rage for this season! It was 70s styles as well as 50s styles that inspired you for autumn-winter, but for spring-summer it’s all about the 60s. Backcombed hair and full volume styles at the ready.

The wet look for men. For spring-summer 2013, men’s hair trends take their inspiration from the 50s. Styling wax is back in favour for structured, stylish and slick styles.

Chignons, braids and ponytails will also have part to play! Find them here soon…
