Hair colouring: what are the trends for autumn 2019?

Autumn goes hand in hand with new trends. Need some inspiration? We have listed the four colouring trends which everyone will be rocking after the summer holidays.

Mahogany red: say goodbye to dull locks

Full of character, mahogany is an extremely dark shade of red. Verging on brunette, this colour is enriched with reddish highlights. It is a warm, luminous colour which adds depth and particularly suits light to medium brown hair. The only warning is to avoid this colour if your skin tends to go rosy or develop red patches. The mahogany red will only exacerbate the situation and draw attention to your skin’s red undertones.

Copper brown: this autumn’s ultra-glossy shade

Enhanced by orange tones, this brown shade revives lacklustre dark hair. Its secret of success is that it enhances your locks and illuminates pale to golden complexions. This vibrant colour is ideal for prolonging your radiant summer complexion.

Ice blonde: this autumn’s rock-chick look

Ice blonde has remained the top on-trend shade for several seasons. However, this IT-colour does not suit everyone. Only women with a pale complexion and preferably short hair can carry off this white shade. If you fall into this category, ice blonde will boost your look and will give you a glam-rock style.

Honey brown: this autumn’s most natural shade

This autumn, light brown locks are being enhanced by honey highlights. These golden shades add depths and luminosity to your hair. As a bonus they warm up your complexion. This shade gives your look an extremely natural result, best obtained by a balayage.
