Guy hair trends for autumn-winter 2014-2015

With summer coming to an end, guys should be thinking about their next-season hairstyle. Summer trends this year have been all about letting your hair flow naturally, and minimal styling, however September is decidedly different. Read on to discover the top 3 autumn-winter hairstyle trends for guys this 2014-2015.

Messy lengths. Spent all summer growing your locks? The good news is that you can now get styling one of this season’s biggest looks. Of course, this winter is all about wearing your hair longer than you’re normally used to. Don’t worry about over-styling your hair and simply allow your hair to be its natural beautiful self, gently quiffed upwards and combed slightly on the sides…think ‘bed-head’. If you need some extra help creating volume, give wax a try.

The parted look. Not sure whether this trend is for you? Trust us and give it a go! This winter is all about the parting, whatever your hair length. Experiment with a centre parting or even a side version, depending on which suits you best. Keep in mind that your parting should be impeccably neat, so use a comb for precision! After styling hair as you normally would, add your parting, then apply a small amount of gel to keep in place and create long-lasting shine.

The eye-obscuring fringe. Once again, this look is for those of you who spent the long summer days growing out your hair. This time, however, forget about messy lengths and think more ‘mysterious fringe’. Allow the front few strands to fall gently around your face and across your forehead. No styling is needed here, just a simple comb to get your hair going in the right direction (forwards). Your fringe should skim your eyebrows lightly, so go for a trim if necessary.
