Céline, 27: “The fringed bob, so retro!”

Your style?  Loads of accessories! I love the more simple and casual styles that can be personalised with accessories. My wardrobes are bursting with bags, jewellery, headbands and hats! In my opinion, once you’ve got the basics right, you can have fun varying the look with good accessories. I don’t rule out anything, from classic to crazy, to neutral or super-bright colours.

Your hairstyle? I have naturally curly hair but I don’t think it suits me … so now I’ve become an addict to styling and hair straighteners. Generally I prefer to wear my hair down rather than putting it up. As a result, it’s essential for my hair to be smooth and soft and for it to stay that way! My hair getting frizzy by the end of the day is out of the question. I try to improve the effect of my straighteners by using styling products like smoothing sprays that help keep hair straight for longer and protect it from humidity in the air. To keep the style in place, I use a spritz of hair spray.

Your style today? To give my bob more personality, I have gone for a long, full fringe which I’ve kept for a few months. I find that the fringe gives the style more structure and gives it a bit of a retro edge. A bit like Louise Brooks’ cult bob, except that mine’s longer! On the other hand, it demands a fair bit of attention since my long fringe covers up my eyes pretty quickly. I go to the hairdresser every 3 months or so to keep the structure of the style and the fringe looking good. And I regularly cut my fringe at home in between visits.
