Anne’s craziest hair make-over

“I’m naturally a brunette but I recently had blonde highlights put in. That should have been the end of it! And yet, when it came to returning to my natural colour, things got a little bit more complicated…

Once the attraction of blonde hair passed, I went to a hairdresser to have my natural colour restored. Simple. I thought I’d already taken my biggest risk when I dyed my hair blonde. When I came out of the salon, I was delighted to be back to normal! The first time I washed it, the colour started to bleed but it didn’t worry me too much. It was when, after I’d washed it again and the colour was still running that I got the biggest shock: a green colour had appeared at the ends of my hair and the roots had turned ginger.

Back to square one and the salon, where the hair dresser confirmed that it was dying my hair blonde that had caused all the problems… She redid the colour, a shade darker this time, and I went home, sure that the episode was over. But no: as soon as I left, I realized that my highlights were khaki-coloured. Finally, I decided to go to a well-known hair dresser where I had yet another colouration and set of highlights put in for a more natural and brighter effect. Well, I was saved but my purse was a lot lighter… I’ve made a vow never to play around with my hair colour again!”
