4 on-trend bobs for spring 2015

The bob is this season’s must-have cut. Discover our 4 unmissable bob styles, recently spotted on the Spring-Summer 2015 runway shows.

The bob and fringe combo. This look was the star of the Givenchy catwalk and stopped just short of the ears to create a bowl affect. A curtain fringe brings all of the attention straight to the wearer’s eyes. This long, chunky style adds a rock-n-roll vibe to any outfit. Worried you’ll get tired of a fringe in your eyes all day? Simply sweep to one side or tuck behind your ears during the growing-out phase.

The wavy bob. This trend has been a big hit since winter and is set to stick around for spring. Similar to the Michael Kors runway show, wear yours with a chic centre parting. The key element to this look is soft and natural-looking curls for a messy, undone effect. Another great way to liven up your style is to add subtle highlights throughout to add depth.

The choppy bob. A short, choppy bob with plenty of character adorned the heads of the Fendi runway models. A side parting adds volume and movement to your style. Lengths were straightened and featured distinct layering whilst the nape of the neck was cut short. This edgy look is perfect for giving your outfit a rebel-inspired vibe. Stay away from this look if your hair is very fine as you may end up with losing more volume than expected.

The slicked-back bob. Opt for a semi wet-look for a sophisticated style this season. Comb your locks backwards, copying the Josie Natorie runway models. Next, apply a small amount of Design Gel to your roots, keeping your lengths free from product. Finally, complete the look with an even layer of hairspray. This style is perfect for a glamorous evening with friends and will make your hair shine brighter than ever.
