3 fringes to compliment your lengths

Spotted recently on the Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 runway shows, the fringe is making a comeback and is perfect for framing your face this season. Whether you wear yours swept to the side, wet-look or with a modern twist, a fringe will give some definition to a long bob, smarten up shorter styles and structure bohemian lengths. Why not give this versatile trend a go? Discover which fringe is best for you…

The loose fringe. Simple to create and easy to style, the loose fringe is shaped to your eyebrows right around your temple with longer edges. Although this fringe is perfect for all face shapes, women with fine straight hair will reap the benefits of this version. It softens features, creates a more youthful look and hides large foreheads. Keep your fringe under control with a jewelled hair slide or simply allow to hang loose.

The wet-look fringe. This well-established trend has been popular for the last few seasons now and aims to replicate the look of damp hair. If your hair is on the short side, why not give this fringe a go? Add some texture to your locks with a fixing product, followed by a spritz of Jean Louis David Shine Spray. To re-create the slicked-back look, part your hair to one side and gather your lengths on the opposite side. Similar to the loose fringe, you can wear yours with an accessory for a unique finish.

The headband-esque fringe. This fringe is in a league of its own, thanks to its futuristic nature. The front pieces of your fringe are arranged around your forehead to create a headband effect. This high-shine style is considered to be extremely artistic, and is ideal for adding an eccentric touch to your regular chignon. Shrinking violets need not apply!
