The new colour treatments available at Jean Louis David this summer

Spring-Summer 2014 is making way for stunning color treatments at Jean Louis David salons. The three new colouring services available are subtle and focus on one single area of the hair.

Jean Louis David has created 3 light enhancing colour treatment. ‘Two of our new techniques, Frontlight and Splashlight, are big news this season. The third technique is one that has come back in trend. Arctic Light has already been around for a few seasons, but is once again increasingly requested in salons. Each of these techniques lighten the hair to make it brighter and more luminous’.

Arcitc Light is perfect for women who already have fairly light hair. ‘This technique gives light hair an icy, cool effect. The result is very natural and blends into several light blonde tones. This treatment is great for summer hair as it gives that just-got-back-from-holiday shine which we all love’.

Splashlight is a technique that is used on the upper section of the hair. ‘In 2003, Jean Louis David created the Splashlight technique, however it was launched under a different name. The technique is being brought back due to the high demand for this type of hair colouring.  The dye is applied horizontally from the mid-lengths towards the roots. The effect is a halo-like lightness around the head’.

Frontlight does exactly what it says. ‘The colour is used to create a lighter section in the front of your style. This front section is usually fairly long and is highlighted using a natural-looking lighter shade using the Frontlight technique’.

Every woman can find a treatment suitable for their hair type and colour thanks to the 3 new techniques available in Jean Louis David salons. ‘Ask your stylist for advice if you’re not sure which look to go for. They will be able to identify the best colour solution by analysing your base colour and evaluating your existing colour’.

Our tip: You will need to look after your new colour treatment by making a salon appointment every 3 months to avoid unsightly roots. Even the Splashlight treatment requires upkeep as you will need to revive its colour to keep it looking vibrant.
